Nevermind... found the answer:
Note: A partially-used band, when re-exposed to the sun, starts monitoring UV rays from the point it was at when you last took it out of the sunlight. Use only one band a day per person, and then discard it.

So sorry, I'm just getting online now. Yes, they are just a one day use, the package says if you use it a second time if will not register the UV rays correctly. Thanks so much for bidding :)
