I bought mine at walmart. but if you really want to spend big bucks go to kohls. I feel the make of the bracelet does not mean anything to me. just so it works.I have also bought one at Hallmark. They are around 20 bucks there. Yes, you can use your black rope. it is up to you what you want to use . There is a lady on here. put in euro Beads. her name is Diane. Goes by Beads by Diane. she has them up for auctions all the time. maybe you can get one on Listia. good luck.
