the chain is 24", so hanging, say in your hand, it'll be about 12"...it should hang about mid chest, I should think...this is a pretty typical length, from what I can tell...also, it's easy to remove in case this is too long, and you can put anything you desire on it!

I'm afraid I don't know which goddess she is...the design comes from a clipart setting, and the settup, engraving, and putting together was done by me

this one is made from alder...it's a flowering tree that can be found in most of the america's, related to birch

its very nice yo, great job. i just have one question if the exposed wood gets wet will that mess it up any or is it coated with a water proof substance?

thanks a bunch! they are coated with a clear finish, which gives them weather resistance, but I would avoid submerging them...the do wipe off with a damp rag id the need arises, though!
