Description

The listing, 2 rings - gold, ruby, diamonds has ended.

These are 2 rings, approximately size 7 or 8. One is (and all this information is what I have been told by ametuers) ruby with diamonds. The band is very worn down, so I believe that it is not a real gold band. I don't know what the band is made of. The other is a gold band, slightly bend out of shape due to it being buried in a box of books during my move. It used to have an amethyst in it which also fell out and I never found. It appears to have small diamonds on the sides. These rings would be good if you would like to restore them, or if you would like to sell them for scrap metal and gemstones. I do believe all information about these rings is correct. Enjoy!

i don't think they're very valuable. i'm being completly honest. i'm offering free shipping and starting the bid at 0, because i know it's possible these are not what i've been told they are. if you don't believe they're real don't bid. it's that easy.

The more people comment, the harder it is to part with these. But they deserve a good home with someone who will use them. =-)

watching and fanned you! Can you tell me what shape the stone was that fell out of the one ring, like heart, round, etc.? The reason I'm asking is that I have a loose sapphire and was wondering if it would set in that ring.

the one with the stone is fake for sure the other without the stone could be goldfilled or plated depending what the markings read

Yeah I know that the one with the stone isn't real gold. I said that in the description.

I price jewelry and I can tell you that the one with the purple/pink stone in the middle isn't anything special - gold electroplate if anything. But the other one missing the stone in the setting is more than likely silver or gold (10 or 14 k most likely). If it IS gold those are probably tiny diamonds :) Hope this helps!

Thanks! The only thing on these I feel comfortable saying isn't real is the band on the ruby(?) ring. It is so worn down I don't see how it could be real. But I have a friend who has a real ruby ring, and the stone in hers and the stone in mine look almost identical, which leads me to believe the stone is real. But since I've never had them tested, didn't buy them new, and don't have a professional eye, I can't guarantee their value. Thanks to you and to all who know more than I do about this stuff! =-)
