How many credits are you willing to bid? I am just asking because I am very new to this site and if I enable it for international and someone bids on it that lives in Timbuktu, I don't know if I can do that. Idk maybe I can ask what I need to. One thing for certain is, I do not even have a job. I see that you have joined here a year ago. Have you found anything on here that you wanted to use your credits for? So far, for me just looking at all of the auctions, most of the stuff I do not want and the rest of stuff that I see so far the bids compared to the amount of money that it cost to purchase them, it seems as though the stuff is way overpriced. I am not saying that I will not ship to Canada. I will have to see what it cost. Would you be will to bid 50 credits? Oh yeah, that's the other thing. If I bid on an auction but do not win, do I lose the credits? Thank you for your reply.
Credits do not get transferred out of your account unless you win. I think you can specify that you will ship to Canada, but not other countries. If you scroll to the bottom of this page, you will see a link for "contact us". That will pull up an email form for you to contact Listia. They have always answered my questions pretty quickly. Hope this helps.
Ok dear. well. are you willing to bid any credits? I can figure out the shipping if I am allowed to ship to Canada I will. Anyhow, you didn't say anything about what you thought about this site or if you have found it to be worthwhile? I fanned you will you fan me back?
Sorry jen5359, I thought i was replying to StephenC. Anyhow, I thought I could easily edit the listing and change the shipping to Canada but, the edit button is not there. I will contact Listia Support. Thank you for the suggestions.
Yelp, I think you are right. That's ok. This site does seem like a lot of fun. I do have many thing I could give away. The thing is though most are heavier than the items that I have listed and also much more expensive. 50 credits cost 5.00 but if you have something worth $50 to $100, you can only start with $10 worth of credits. I was thinking that after a person would have proved themselves as being a good seller or a good buyer, that you could increase the amount of the start bid. But, I can't find anything that says that, so I assume the highest you can go is 100. Oh, well. Thank you for fanning me back and good luck with your auctions.
I have seen auctions where the seller set a starting bid. I think they had their trusted seller's badge. I don't think there is a limit on how many credits a person can bid.I have seen some items go for thousands as well as 1. It is a risk if your item is valuable. You can get more credits by completing surveys and offers. I have never bought a single credit. Good luck, and I hope you enjoy Listia as much as I do!
