The listing, Love Story That's What It's Called Handpainted Western Germany Covered Trinket Holder has ended.
This is such a lovely piece, I couldn't call it a trinket box. Couple things I'll point out, and the rest the pictures will tell you. It has two labels, one on the underside of the lid, and one on the bottom. Labels are the same. It reads, "Made in Western Germany" There's a crown and beneath the crown is the letter C with N on top. Letters in gold. On the lid written in gold script it says "Love Story" and "Handpainted". Now, here's where it gets interesting. Under the label on the lid, I can make out the name Hutschenreuther in green. There is more but I can't read it. If you look that up, it is a German porcelain maker. Now, under the label on the bottom, is writing (numbers and letters in blue) but I can't determine what it says without pulling label and I won't do that. I'll leave further research to the new owner.
