The National Telecommunications Company (Entel) was an argentinian public company originally created in 1948 by the government of Juan Domingo Perón, with the name of "Teléfonos del Estado" . In 1957 it was renamed to ENTel, name remained until its dissolution; in 1960 it was called for a short time National Telephone Company.
