The listing, One Touch Diabetic Test Strips has ended.

The winner of this auction will get 2 boxes of 50 test strips each for blood glucose testing. That's a total of 100 test strips. These do not expire until April of 2016. These are compatible will all One Touch Brand Glucometers. Please DO NOT BID IF YOU INTEND TO SELL THESE. Test strips are a diabetic's lifeline! I am offering these here because I have more than I can use and would like to see them go to someone who needs them. I am not doing GIN this time as I cannot afford to mail these out until the auction ends. They will be mailed in a regular orange envelope or bubble mailer with insurance and tracking.

So many people ask why I don't just sell them and the answer is simple. I have been HOSPITALIZED because I couldn't afford test strips and went into DKA without knowing it. I got these FREE from my insurance. Therefore, they are not really mine to sell. Listia is a godsend for folks like me who don't have much income, but have plenty of well-meaning family members who give em stuff they don't want or need! I've been listia-ing for two years and STILL have things I don't need that I can sell for things that I do!

Honestly, I've never noticed the price on eBay... but I do know how expensive they can be at the pharmacy!

I lost a whole vial of them once when my husband tested me during a low and forgot to close them. They were only open for 2-3 hours but that was just long enough for the whole vial to go bad :(

I've never experienced "brand loyalty" until becoming a diabetic. I've had all kinds of meters with infared sensors and all the bells and whistles and through it all One Touch has remained my favorite!

Its good for care givers to have these on hand, too! Especially if you're dealing with an elderly person or a small child who may not be able to tell you where their strips and meter are!
