This is for a Chromecast device. I have plugged it in but didn't use it. Bought a smart tv so I don't really need it now. Don't ask me how they work, I don't know. They are supposed to be easy tho. does this work on other tvs once it has been used on a different tv? sorry if that's a dumb question, but a friend told me that you can't use it if it's already been on another tv...

Found the answer online! (love bing): You can use one Chromecast on one TV at a time, but you can unplug it from one TV and move to another at any time. It is a very portable device
