I don't remember what year I purchased this coin. I have been surfing the web to find info on it. Evidently they're not too many circulating around. I only seen one just like it for sale on ebay for $49.00, unfortunately there was no date mentioned in the listing of it. For some reason I want to say it is from the 80's, but I cannot be for sure because I have so many different coins. If you can find out please let me know what year it was made, I would really appreciate it! Thanks for asking and looking. It is one of the most beautiful coins I have seen!

That looks like a proof coin! Someone told me when it's shiny like that on the back ground it's a proof! If it is it's worth more than uncirculated!

You may be right, I don't know for sure myself. I have had it so long that I forgot about it. I usually keep a record of all my coins when I purchase them, but when I went through all my listed coin records I couldn't find any info on it. I have been searching online trying to find some info on it but haven't yet. I saw one just like it listed on ebay for $49.00, but no year or other info than what I have listed here.

Another thing I found interesting about this coin is that all the other commemorative coins have Lincoln's head either facing right or straight ahead, but this one faces left.
