The listing, Evening Gown Size 18 Formal MOB Dress has ended.

I won this beautiful dress here on Listia from Angelscry2.
She only wore it for 2 hours to a wedding and I ended up not wearing it at all. It is in just like new condition. It was purchased from David's Bridal for $399!!!
The color is called eggplant, it's a dress and sheer coverup type jacket. The dress has a slight V-Neck with beautiful beading at the neckline and lower on the skirt part of the dress. The sheer jacket has matching beading and floaty sleeves. The dress has straps, but they are a little wider than spaghetti straps, so that you can wear a bra with it. The bottom is full and looks pretty when you walk. The design is loose fitting so that it will probably fit a 16 or 20 just fine. Measurements are below.
This dress looks and feels lovely.
Shoulder to Hem: 58"
Bust: 46"
Hips: 56"

There are some spots showing up in my pics, but they are not really on the dress. I guess it was from the lighting or my camera.

My mom wears like a 18-20 in pants could she honestly fit this?

It probably will fit her just fine. Could you compare the hip measurement of a dress that fits her well to the measurements above? The actual dress measures 46" at the bust and 56" at the hips. So you would want her to have a couple of inches of "ease" in the hip area especially. So that she will be comfortable when sitting. Usually the bust area doesn't need as much ease as the hips, but her bust should measure less than 46" or she will be squished on top. Thanks for asking.

I have this dress! it is a very forgiving material. I have a 14W and i wear a plus size most of the time. I plan to wear it to my daughters friends wedding in aug. next year. but i have also worn it to a nice dinner out with the hubby.
