I took to our only home town jeweler and he looked at it with his head gear and said all he could tell me was it is a real stone and not a fake, but that he is not a gemologist and could not clarify what type of stone. So I am selling it. If t is worth something ...my loss your gain.
It is lighter in person and when you hold it up to the light you can see through it. You see lines and specks.
