Does this connect via USB? I hear that you can use drivers with these to use them on a PC.Could I get the model number so I may do some research on this? If it connects to my laptop I may just bid on it.

That would be awesome. As I have heard of and seen through youtube some PS3 controllers being able to do so but since I do not have a PS3 I have not been able to test this. I would rather own one of these since it is the kind of controller I am use to with PS1/2 then to invest in some knock off PC USB controller that is "like" a PS controller.

that could work out then. if it does work the games i play are mostly FPS and Strategy games on Steam. like L4D 2 and HL 2 etc. See if you can pull a model number off that and i will check if the driver is compatible with it. or if there is one that is compatible. It all still rides on if it actually does work on a PC.

pretty sure it wouldnt work with Halo since Halo is an Xbox game, and would you actually ship this controller this time since you didnt ship it to me last time i won it?

Wow, did you really say that. Xbox is MICROSOFT owned, Halo is MICROSOFT owned. Halo is on PC!

Okay well i just witnessed a youtube video of someone showing this working on a pc. So i am now inclined to say yes that it will work with some tweaking involved. Seems my quest has finally come to an answer haha. Anyways thanks for all the help, i look forward to auction end to see where this is at and if i can compete.

lol, wow, calm down JWulfe, i meant that if the controller is for a PS3 that it wouldnt work with Halo which is on XBOX jeez, and i did win this controller last time and the seller said they were moving their mom last time, may be i want to try to win it again and am asking if i win it will they be able to ship this time, so put away the sword no need for a knight in shining armor

It glows if you turn the switch on all the time, or you can use it without glowing with switch off

Ps3 controllers will work for SOME ps3 games however you need to download drivers which you need to run every single time you play with the controller. Also they only work on a limited amount of games which have no limitations on Controllers. Any games made by Microsoft or EA will definitely NOT work with a ps3 controller. I also know they DO work with 2K Games, Keep in mind also with a Ps3 controller there is no guarantee the buttons will configure correctly. Your best bet is to shell out 20 bucks for a logitech for PC. Just picked up a nice (360 Style) Ps3 controller at ToysRUs for 19 bucks, or I woulda been all over this.
