Description
The listing, Rainbow Chard (Five Color Silverbeet) has ended.
Heirloom variety. Chard has a milder tast than spinach and is a great fall / winter crop. Sow now for fresh, homegrown veggies for months. Likes moist soil and is quick to germinate. Seeds are from Baker Creek Heirloom and packaged for this year. 30 - 40 seeds. Free shipping in US and Canada. Thank you so much for looking!
This is the first year I have grown them, but I got them from a reputable heirloom source. I guess in answer to your question, I have not personally grown them from seed, but I do trust my seed supplier and they list them as an heirloom that originated in Austria. This variety is also available on Seed Saver's Exchange. Hope that helps! Thank you for looking!
Thank you! I started heirloom gardening last year. I think it's an addiction though.... keep trying new things. Eventually, my whole yard may be a garden. Thank you for looking and commenting!
I've been heirloom gardening for 3 years and you're right it is an addiction! :) There are so many varieties of heirloom vegetables and fruits, I want to try them all haha
I know! I am digging a new space in my yard this morning so I can put more stuff in.... What's just as bad is my mom is into it too and between the two of us, we have more and more and more... and now add listia into it, I think I may have to quit my job to keep up with everything.
