Belonged to my mother who would now be 82 if she was still alive. i have no idea of its actual age. i found no markings, but my vision is poor. gorgeous little pin. this is a 2 dimensional little gold mouse pin. it has "brushed" gold on most of the surface. there are some areas of "flat" gold around the tail, ears and nose. the little feet have toe details and the mouth has detail as well. it is a beautiful little pin. it has a ruby colored stone eye. i have a basic camera and cannot pick up the detail as it actually is on the little toes and ears. * i believe my auctions are fare, and i am an honest person. i provide the best possible information & photographs that i can at the time i run an auction and add changes if i am aware of any. i do not believe in return credits unless i simply do not mail your item(s) i provide tracking information on every mailing at extra cost & have no control over the postal service. i am available for any questions you may have and you need not bid if you wish not to. if i am not offering a gin on a specific auction you are welcome to offer a gin although i do not always do them. verified address for shipping only. should you decide to bid on my auction i wish you the best of luck bidding. i appreciate you taking the time to view my auction. i really do.thank you. jo

What is the clasp like, is it like a tie tac closer or a pin type?

Hi, This is the type of clasp that you push the pin up and then the clasp has a tiny little piece of smooth metal sticking up so you can "roll" the clasp locked all the way around the pin itself. hello i was browsing and this came up.i have the cat to match this lol.it has little ruby eyes also. found it a long time ago.i looked it up to see if it was worth anything.i found some on ebay i think it was.they were asking 10.00 for it.very cute and very vintage.all the rage.good luck on your auction.i fanned you.im going to go and take a look see at your auction page now! :)
