I am biased because my father as a writer-artist spent time with Peter Hurkos-60 years ago) and Norma Browning"s great writing on
the subject only confirmed some of these stories. Peter Hurkos was asked if their were any serious criminals that lived to close to us. Yes, he said. He lives within 1500 feet of us. Actually he lived about 725 feet from us and according to our police chief
the person was accused of raping and killing a Japanese girl at the end of World War 2 in Japan. Also my father was with
Peter Hurkos during the period of Peter Belk's daughter's drowning. As the result of listening to my DAd and Professors from
Brown and URI, I believe that Peter Hurkos had these powers. He wished strongly that he didn't and I believe him to have been a very honest person, in fact bluntly honest. I wished I read this book 50 years ago and could have asked my parents more about
this fascinating person. I met other people who may or may not have had these powers, they all had a strong belief in God and
wished they could have lived a different type of life.
