Today I am offering to you, a small, but Lovely Cameo Pendant.
It is so very reminiscent of the Wedgwood, Jasperware items, being that same powder blue shade, offset with a white, raised, applique.

Alas~~It is not, Jasperware, just a facsimile, but a lovely piece in it's own right.

I'm on the fence as to the true material of this Cameo.
It feels like glass to me & I cannot see any evidence of glue being used to attach the Woman's silhouette either.

This would mean that the Cameo could be molded glass, perhaps~~ The lovely Lady has a transparency or opaque quality.
But~~on the other hand, & I'm acting as the Devil's Advocate, now~~ this might be a resin Cameo, doing a good job at looking like glass. You decide ;0)

The Brass setting shows wear, as you can see, but to me, this wear adds more charm & the "shabby chic" factor to it.
There are no markings to indicate Maker or metal purity, that I can see, & it measures a wee, 1" x 1/2"
It's not Antique, but is Vintage, thus it's listed here.
