Description

The listing, Large Ancient Byzantine Follis Coin 1500 Years Old - Unknown Emperor, Perhaps Anastasia or Justinian has ended.

This is a nice old Byzantine coin minted around 500 AD. The emperor is unidentified, but I'm guessing Anastasia or possibly Justinian I. The Obverse has the emperor's bust facing right, and the Reverse has a large M. The M is the Greek symbol for 40. The denomination of the coin is 40 Nummis, or 1 Follis. This is a large thick coin and would make an awesome addition to your collection! See photos for condition. Quarter shown for size reference only. Must have verified address. All Listia rules apply. Shipping is FREE! US BIDDERS ONLY. Thanks for looking! Check out my other auctions!
