Are we talking about the cassette player recorder or the camera? If it is the recorder, you run your output line from whatever you are going to record from into the input on the back of the unit. Put in a blank cassette and record.

I think that we have 2 different auction items that we are talking about. The ccamera is a camera period. No cords, attachments or anything else. It was given to me from a widow of a friend and was in a closit for 5 years. I never used it.

As far as I know, it works fine. It was given to me and put away. I never used it but the former owner did up until he got sick and passed away.
