The listing, RARE Vintage Teddy Ruxpin Talking Bear With Box has ended.

WOW I have a real working Teddy Ruxpin from 1985, I was going to sell this on etsy but think it would be better for someone on listia plus it's pretty large and want it gone. This is hard to find. A teddy Ruxpin with box( box isn't mint has rips), working cassette, and pamphlets on care. I put some new batteries in him. He takes 4 c batteries. The story included is about the missing princess. You can find more cassettes for him online. You can also find additional outfits but this is his oringinal outfit. This Teddy Ruxpin has around a $100 value. So about this cute talking bear:
He is the official spolesbear for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (Gold sticker reads this on box) He is made by Worlds of Winder for ages 3 and up. The cassette comes with an accompanying storybook but I no longer have it. I tested him out and he works but whats weird is the story only plays when the compartment is partially opened... Maybe I just dont know how to work cassettes. But he does work and tells a story about a missing princess and hen warns children to be careful around strangers. I accept Paypal for shipping payment

This is the original outfit. I don't know what the person above is talking about. Granted that it's not "mint" because you took it out of the box, but other than that there is nothing wrong with it as far as I can see.

this is worth a lot more than you think it is going for about 200$ and that is just a low ball price I don't know why you are selling this I can't help to wonder if this is to good to be true and why you are trying to sell it on here I can get way more for it but I do have to say it's a darn good auction and my hat is off to you for doing it on here

I dont usually like to pay for shipping except for things that r really worth it.... AND THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES!!! Unfortunately we werent very well off and having 6 kids was difficult enough for my parents, so being the good parents that they are they decided lets feed the kids and pay our bills before getting our kids awesome toys (what was wrong with them-lol). But now that I'm older with my own kids I would love, Love, LOVE to get this!! Fanned, watching, AND absolutely willing to pay shipping for this amazing auction.....

fanned and watching! I have been trying to find an original Teddy Ruxpin for my 2yo! I played with the one I had growing up ALL the time!! I don't remember what happened to him, but my mom thinks he was stolen along with some of our other belongings when we lived temporarily with one of my moms friends. They are no longer friends and I still miss Teddy :(

This is so awesome! I love that everyone is so excited about it, I still have my Teddy but no books or tapes (although he does have a handsome tuxedo). The best toy I ever got as a kid, and all the kids I know know are totally unimpressed. Fanned you and whoever wins this is going to be on cloud 9!

That would be fine...maybe you could give me some tips on what would be the least expensive for you. I do get a discount with FedEx but it is still pricy. If you would be ok with that then I would be ok to ship it but it would not fit in even a large flat rate box so I think it would cost around $50 via post office and like $40 through fedex possibly.

I had the one that would talk when you clapped or walk.. something. I was born in 84. I'm not sure where is is now. I also had a cabbage patch kid with the box from GERMANY. the box was in written in German. Not sure where that went either.. makes you wish when you were little you were certain to be careful with that stuff!
