Does the Opal ring have a crack running through it ? It looks like it does in the pic.

I actually had not noticed it before but after looking closely you are right. It looks like a crack but I cannot feel it on the exterior of the stone so it must be inside the stone.

opals are a soft stone and crack real easily they usually crack on the inside whoever gets this will just have to be careful with it.

I never know to call something a moonstone, opalite, opal or whatever....I assume most of these are man-made but I just don't know. I think of opals as expensive stones and are usually small so this is like an opal like rainbow pearly colored stone but does seem to have a crack in the middle
