Most laptops have a slot on the side to insert the adapter chip, which does come with the adapter that carries the chip to fiton the side of your laptop.
The camera does have DC IN3V
AND A/V OUT plugins to connect to your laptop but I don't have one sorry=( hope I answered your question =).**
