Beautiful vintage jewelry box, hand-carved. I have owned it for 42 years! Not sure of wood type, possibly teak? I removed old felt from bottom interior. Inside panels slide out in order to make sections. Small square piece shown inside is one of the dividers. The bottom is cracked, but not falling apart. The hinges work well. "3-D" relief carved. I apologize for the blurriness of some of the photos. Took photos of all views.
