Vintage 40s 'Bow' Handbag - Wristlet

Wonderfully fun bag, unique design. This is a crocheted gimp bag, possibly made by Corde'. Gimp is a form of fabric cord in this case crocheted to form the exterior of the bag. I believe it is rayon, a Corde' staple in the 40s.
It is a dark chocolate brown and shaped in the classic bow style. It is completely lined with a zippered closure.
It measures 12 inches wide and 7 inches deep. The strap is 15 inches.
It is a nice alternative to leather.
I've not seen another like it.
