georgeingraham No, I am not sure of the material.. I do not think it can be jasper though. It reminds me of moss or quartz kind of stone, but it seems kind of light for any kind of stones. I think the dark spot on the top is what they call a natural inclusion. I have seen spots like that on many kinds of stone though. I just do not know.. It weighs two ounces..
