I just Love it when every day objects are also Beautiful works of Art. How much more Pleasant that is ~~

In this case, we have a Bocquet Yvetot 1735 Mustard jar, from Digoin Provence, France, that has Fabulous, flowery designs all over it.

It's made of Opaline Pressed glass in shades of Burgundy, Butter Yellow, French Blue, Olive & White.

It measures 3.5" tall & the top opening is 2.25"
No Damage but you can feel the "mold " marks at opening. No, it was not made in 1735, but appromatly 1950's .

Alas~~the top is missing ~~ Still a Beauty, though & soooo many possibilities for items to fill it up!

You should see it filled with a bunch of fresh picked wild Violets ;0)
