Offering 10 Love in a Puff Seeds from my garden 2014. These are perfect for a Cottage Garden, considered perennials in USDA Zone 9-11 and self-seed so easily in milder climates, in other areas they are considered Annuals. They are very fast growing and in milder climates may be considered invasive, but they are so charming who cares? I plant mine along with Morning Glory for a very unsual look. They have tiny white flowers but the real attraction is the balloon puff. Children love to watch these grow, and can't wait till they are ready to harvest, usualy they have 3 black seeds with creamy white hearts. Other names are Heart Seed & Balloon Vine

Are they edible?

I never gave it any thought as to it being edible soI checked the web to see if I could find anything about the plant being edible, there were some sites that listed it as medicinal, I didn't find anywhere it said it was poisionus, but I would be leary about eating it, there was also a blip that said the leaves are cooked like spinach??? Sorry I can't give you any more info on this, I grow it just because I like how it looks and the ease of it. Thanks for asking maybe someone else would have ideas on it.
