Good Morning to All inn Listia Land!

Today I have a Sweey Vintage Locket that just oozes Charm & Shabby Chic Goodness ~~~

This Locket is another Gift that my traveling Grandfather Honorious, brought home to my Grandma Blance, after one of his extended Travels. This particular jaunt was to the American South West.
AS you can see from the front of the Locket, he passed through Colorado & probably visited Pike's Peak, while there.
Lord knows what he was doing in Colorado in the 1st place, but us Grandkids & even Grandma, learned NOT to ask about his mysterious commings & goings ;0)

The face of this Sweet locket is Mother of Pearl & hand painted. No damage to the lovely Roses & greenery.
The body of the Locket is probably Brass, not Gold, & shows a wonderful Patina. Clean it if you wish, but I think it's Fabulous, "as is". It measures 1" x 1"

It opens & the latch works as intended. It can hold 2 photos, & currently holds one, Of My GrandMa's twin Sister, Cecille. They were very close, & her Death was hard on Gram. Us Grand Kids were always hanging out at her house to keep her company, when GrandPa was off on a jaunt.
The chain measures 18" & it does not seem original to the necklace.

There are no markings as to Maker or metal purity, & as with all my Auctions, is offered, "as is". It was worn often, but is still in great Vintage condition.
