Please note i can not post pics i have no camera or scanner ill describe it as good as i can the date is worn i can not see any detail on front nor back ill say its very poor it looks to be copper brass but it is not gold nor silver and will not stick on a magnet its about the size of a nickle but much flatter so i can not say what country its from nor a date
history i found the coin while metal detecting in the woods .
you must have a listia approved address none will be accepted though email

thank you for asking i found it in the woods here in NC near a old slave house i know the house was from 1860s but i have no idea if the coin is from that era or newer as ppl walk the woods alot

Could be anything from a confederate penny to a button. Too bad on no picture, I am sure that would help your auction a lot. Are there any recognizable shapes or designs?

its round and flat like a penny but i cant see any shapes on back or front there are no sigh of a clasp or any holes the only slight detail is a tiny rim but its bigger than a penny but slightly smaller than a nickle i found it almost 20 years ago never had it checked but im guessing its a penny of sorts i know the x slave was freed right before the war
