This is a Gold Lace Bowtie shaped BROOCH/PIN. It has a raised CAMEO STYLE glass center with a delicate PINK ROSE BUD painted on it. Very GORGEOUS piece as a pin or brooch or can be made into a very beautiful barrette for holding back ones hair. I cannot find any kind of inprints on this piece, it was one of my grandmother's favorite, she left it to me when I was very young. I have no idea how old it is but I do know it looks as pretty today as it did the first time I laid eyes on it years ago. The entire back side of this piece has swirly filigree engravings. The front side has been etched over the entire piece.

Thank you so much. I know my grandmother had it for a long time before it was left to me. but I really have no history or anything about it other then what I just said. I have kept it in a velvet bag in my dresser. But it's so pretty I thought it should go to somebody that would enjoy it and show it off a little.
