It doesn't say how many on the cover card, but looks to be about 40. I'll give it a closer look this evening and try to post better pics. Thanks for looking.

Sorry, I was way off on the 40-card guess. I added a few new photos that I hope help. This is a hard set to find info about, and I don't want to open it. But here's what I think the sealed package contains:

- 51 cards in set
- 36 card subset
- 6 card Rick Mears insert set
- 6 card AJ Hoyt Jr. insert set
