As most of my friends will tell you, I am a writer. I think the book I've written that I'm most proud of is Myra's Garden. The main heroine, Myra is a character inspired by my own grandmother. The character, ( and my grandmother,) were both renowned cooks. Much of what I learned in the kitchen was learned under her watchful eye. I loved most everything she cooked, but this hearty, delicious, potato soup has been a winter staple in our family for generations. Nothing warms the heart and body like a hot bowl of homemade soup.
