Watercolor art by L. Macouillard. Louis Macouillard was born in San Francisco, CA and studied at the California College of Arts and Crafts (Oakland), Art Students League (New York). During World War II, he was stationed in the South Pacific and produced many watercolors, some of which appeared in Life magazine and Matson brochure/dinner menu covers. After the war, he continued to paint representational transparent watercolor paintings
•9" x 11.75" on a linen type paper (water color paper)
•Good condition with mild wear
•Suitable for framing
