The listing, vintage silver unusual scoop has ended.

I picked this up "used" some years ago and never really knew what it was except a little fancy scoop of sorts maybe for sugar or bath crystals. I haven't a clue. It is vintage & measures almost 3" long and has an ornate handle. No markings I could find and I am totally unsure of the metal but could be stainless. It could use a polish as it was used when I bought it. Well made and strong so was made to last. Free shipping to Listia verified customers.

I know The auction is almost over but thought i would help you solve your Mystery. This is a Scoop for a Sugar Scuttle. The Scoops more often than not looks like a miniature versions of the Sugar Scuttle. The Scoop will either Hang from the scuttle by a hook or have a slot to slide in.

I surely had no clue what type of little scoop it was. I can remember big wooden flour scoops but I have no idea what a sugar scuttle is. I'm going to have to look that up and see. Sounds cute. I had even wondered if it might have been a fancy coffee scoop..but now I know so thanks for letting me know.
