More for a 7". I have an iPad Air2 and it doesn't fit. I also have a Kindle Fire HD 7" and it fits perfect. Hope that helps. Any other questions please let me know.

Regarding this awesome bag, is there room for a Nook(same size as your Kindle), a Samsung Galaxy S5 (6"high, 3 1/2"wide, 1/2 - 1 1/2 deep depends on case, and a small wallet(1/2"deep, >3"wide, 4"high)?? If not sure.... no biggie I can figure it out when I get it. :o) Love Wilson's Leather!! Any idea of weight empty?

As long as they are similar in size to my Kindle Fire HD I don't see why they wouldn't fit. I will weigh the bag and add the weight as an update so that everyone can see.
