The Dolphins 1st round pick in 1996, Gardener played 6 seasons with Miami, totaling 77 starts and 15 sacks along the way. The Phinsider (Dolphins web site) lists him as the 67th greatest Dolphin of all time. I don't know how "big" it is to be the 67th greatest player in a franchise history, but just being mentioned in the same breath as a Dan Marino or a Bob Griese must be a pretty good compliment.
