Wow! 45 years old! Petroliana, mantique! Standard Oil 100 year anniversary plate. The plate 12" diameter plate is in good condition. There is some wear-off of the gold laurel leaf embellishment.
The plate says; Standard Oil Company
1870-1970
Starting Our Second Century of Service

I know, it does look that way but my camera is 20 mpx and I can zoom in and check it out. It was the curve of the plate reflecting my blinds. I saw the mustache face as well, but it disappeared when I did zoom in.
