Thank you Lanstiv, it is one of the most unkind illnesses to ever exist. I can not go in the sun or heat so I stay indoors and read and paint. My thoughts and prayers are with you. <3. Jen
This is perfect for me. I took in a foster child and she stole all my makeup along with many other items. I could not reuse it because I have Lupus and have to worry about cross contamination so all my new makeup is gone. I am watching and bidding. This would be a great help to me. Nice auction.
my cousin has lupus and to watch her go through all the pain and suffering she has the past 14 years has been very heartbreaking she went into like a remishion for a short time til this last year and had to have a kidney transpalnt and then it went ok at first but having lots of complications again so my prayers are with you cause i can really imagine what you are going through
Thank you, my Lupus has gone after my kidneys, lungs and my heart. I will keep your cousin in my prayers. It is a everyday battle with pain and other issues. I was in remission for awhile but went out this past July. Lupus also ended my 27 year marriage. My ex could not handle a wife with a chronic illness so it's just my daughter and me now. Good luck to the winner. I don't have enough credits. And prayers to all those with Auto Immune diseases, the disease no one sees. Great auction, you will do very well. Jen
you could not have stated that better. I think one of the hardest things is that most of the time (unless I am swollen like a toad) I look perfectly normal. No one would ever guess what I have to go through to go outside or go to events. It becomes a battle of will at some point. You know there are things you need to do and your body says no, but everything in you fights on. It is also very difficult on a marriage, I nearly lost mine to it 7 years ago. Thank the lord that Jesus was able to heal the wounds between my husband and I.
@lanstiv, that is wonderful that you worked it all out. My ex just got a big job promotion and having a sick wife at home or in the hospital didn't fit his new social life. Have you read the Spoon Theory? It is what I use to explain the illness. It is on a website called butyoudontlooksick.com. Everyone thinks its just a rash. The butterfly rash on my face is the easiest part. I have to use 45 spf sunscreen, UV clothes and had a picc line for awhile because my kidneys kept shutting down. My daughter knows now when I say I;m done that I can't do anymore. Best of luck to you. I am going to fan you so we can keep in touch. Jen
