My Melody Barbie. Designed by Bill Greening of Mattel. She is fabulous! She is NRFB and in mint condition. I have enjoyed her, but it is time for someone else to admire her. I love Hello Kitty and My Melody! She is just so Kawaii that it's unreal! Look at that bag she carries! I want one for me! LOL!! She is no longer being made and is sold out.

yes i bought a couple old ones still in the cardboard boxes and they are not cheap. now i buy a collectors edition to put up and a cheap one for her to play with at christmas time.

That's awesome! I am a real advocate for starting them young w/ their dolls. They will be part of their lives as they grow. It's a wonderful hobby for any girl to enjoy! So many times we see young girls giving up their dolls for makeup and boys. Often times they toss the dolls to the side to keep from being teased and embarassed by their piers. My 11 yr old still plays w/ her dolls. She LOVES American Girls and actually collects vintage Barbie w/ me! :D
