This auction is for 5 seeds of this unique and rare trailing vine/groundcover. Also called White Veined Dutchman's Pipe, Aristolochia fimbriata. Awesome variegated leaves, striking maroon fringed pipe flowers. These will be your favorite in the garden!

Hardy in zone 7a to 9b, or grow as annual. Partial sun to full shade.
This is a butterfly magnet! Drought-tolerant; suitable for xeriscaping.

Aristolochia fimbriata is a really cool, deciduous groundcover Dutchman's pipe that spreads out to a 3 ft wide mound on little green stems. Each rounded leaf is medium green, highlighted with dramatic silver veining. The cute, little, 1" long, yellow/green and maroon flowers resemble miniature elephant trunks with fringes and are produced along the stem all summer. In winter, the stems retreat back to the base so there are no invasive problems with this gem!
