Up for sale is a 1869 Three Cent Nickel!!!
The United States three cent piece was a unit of currency equaling 3⁄100 of a United States dollar. The mint produced two different three-cent coins: the three-cent silver and the three-cent nickel. During the period from 1865 to 1873, both coins were minted, albeit in very small quantities for the silver three cent piece.
Condition of Coin:
This coin has wear. It has a gash on the upper left of the face (8th picture), and a tiny hole in the top. Parts of Liberty are still there. Ear: Indent is still visible. Minimal detail in hair and face.
Reverse:
Some detail in III. L orals have good detail.
Note: The first picture is an example of the coin as it was minted. It does not reflect he condition on the coin for auction.
This is a good coin for a collector who would like one, and for 150 years it still looks okay.
