Adding songs is simple, you just download your desired MP3 and put it in folder that pops up when attaching it to your computer. I believe there are already some song on there. You can delete them if you chose. This MP3 player is great for kids if you don't want them to have a pricey iPod yet. There is a small screen so you can see what songs are playing.
