You fill out a declaration form stating what you are sending and what it is worth ...
that's it ! You can pay a couple of extra bucks for the tracking .Canada is on the same continent so it isn't very much . Over seas well that is another matter ....
You can go online USPS to see what the cost to send is also you can call the post office and talk to them and ask questions .
Once you send something you will wonder why you haven't done it sooner ....it is silly simple : )

I am in Canada and send 90% of my auctions to the States ....I have never had an issue except for items late at Christmas : )
It actually costs me the same to send around Canada as it is to the States . What costs more for me is the tracking is free in Canada and I have to pay a couple extra dollars for tracking to the States : )
