I won a CDRW here on Listia, so now I finally have a working disk drive...now I'm waiting for someone to list a photo editing program disk & then I'll be in the game!

Debi ... you can download photo-editing software from any camera-maker web site. I use HP's Photosmart, don't like Canon's software editing (but love their cameras) and I'm sure all the other camera makers have software downloads too. You don't need to buy anything!

I have dial up internet & an extremely old computer....even with my download manager it takes forever!!!

You need one of those new laptops with wireless. You could take it anywhere that has wireless (like someone's driveway) and download your software! If you know anyone who has a wireless laptop, they also could do that for you (in a library or something, more realistically).

LOL ... fresh outta sugardaddies, and mine's up to his armpits in syrup (my husband will be out of work by October). Try hunting around for someone who'll just download the software for you and give it to you on a disk or flash drive. Problem is, if you're computer is really old it might have trouble running newer software, you'd probably be better off with older software that came with someone's camera a few years ago. I'll hunt around to see if I have anything like that and send it to you, if I can find one, the next time I ship you some beads. I have a feeling I know just where to find it ...

Well, I haven't had a chance to look for one yet, but my husband has a TON of old software CDs in his office. If he's got one, you can have it because we don't need it for anything.
