More so I am looking for the phone verification and/or the bank verification. (Trusted Seller and Wings both just take experience ~ in other words, they are earned with time and usage.) But, you can do the phone/bank immediately.

We are not being mean by any means. As a seller you will be rewarded so much with more bids and higher bids once you are verified. It gives us more confidence to keep bidding higher and higher if we feel like you are the real deal.

Just speaking for myself here, facebook isn't an issue to me. I don't use facebook. (Yes, there are still a few of us out here!) Since I don't use it, having the facebook badge isn't significant to me one way or the other. What you have done, the phone certification, is great. I too chose not to link my banking with anything on Listia. So, I don't hold that against you. If/when I do exchange money with someone through Listia, I do it through PayPal. That is secure in and of itself so I don't see a reason to know if they have the bank verification. The biggest thing for me when a person is just starting out is the phone verification since I have that one myself. (Bank verification is usually up there too when someone has done the phone part. Most people do them at the same time.)

After you have been on Listia for a while, the other things like seller wings and all that will be awarded to you. I look for those badges for people who have been on long enough to have earned them. If they don't have them, I wonder what has gone wrong that they didn't earn them???? Red Flags!! The most important thing I look at though for those who have been around a long time, is there feedback. If you have issues with someone who has won an auction, do what you can to make it right with them if they have any leg to stand on at all. If they leave you negative feedback, that will lower your percentage and flag bidders that they may have issues in dealing with you.

As long as you are quick to mail your packages and are honest and open with people you should find your winners very happy with you and leaving you with great feedback. That is the main thing I look for when deciding how high to bid on items.

I am fairly sure you are going to get a lot of points on this auction. Now that you have done the verification that you did, a lot of people will probably bid ~ I look forward to watching during the last few minutes tonight!
