The listing, Bound Celebrate The Century Commemorative Stamp Collection From the USPS - Face Value = $48.90 has ended.
From 1998 thru 2000 the United States Post Office issued panels of 15 stamps each to commemorate historical events of each decade of the 20th century. After the last panel was released they offered a very nice bound volume containing all ten pages. This is the complete bound set as issued by the post office. The first four decades were issued with each stamp having a face value of 32 cents (4x15x.32 = $19.20). The remaining six decades were issued at a face value of 33 cents (6x15x.33 = $29.70). That brings the face value of the stamps alone to $48.90 but who would want to use these beautiful stamps as postage when they are worth so much more for their historical value. The protective cover for each decade contains the panel of 15 stamps in front and on the reverse side contains a fact sheet with details about each of the stamps for that decade. This fact sheet is on heavy stock and helps to protect the panel of stamps. I have included pictures of each decade, the binder in which the pages are housed, and the fact sheet for the 1900s decade.
