You can pretty much plug anything in to it. Or if you already have speakers, place the dog near it and it will dance and bark while you play music.
Ive got a small army of them. Ill be bidding on this one too.

it was designed to work with

it was designed for I-pod, but will work on any 3.5mm. i really don't know what that means.so really doubt it work on phone.

It doesn't have battery or charge area. it rejuvenates when plugged into I-pad or whatever you want. it is working right now.making all kinds of sounds setting on the desk.
