are you including delivery confirmation with the shipping? I was just wondering why a new seller with no previous feedback and with no seller verification would be giving such an expensive phone away? I am not accusing you of anything i am just being very very cautious due to the fact that i have been scammed not once but 3 times now winning a cell phone from new sellers on here... I just hope this is legite cause this phone is going to go for crazy amount of credits
no i understand totally your concern. i have no problem doing the confirmation shipping at all. i bought this cell phone for an ex of mine who had boost mobile and he was saying his "old phone" wouldnt always receive calls or messages. so me being the dummy that i am went and bought him this phone so that he can get my messages and or calls. yeaah well i found out it wasnt his phone that wasnt working. needless to say we broke up and i have no need for it so i figured why not give it to someone who actually needs it
Honestly people give her a break. Everyone starts out new on this site so give a person the benefit of the doubt! If you think it's "fake" or don't like it than zip it and move on!
Well im not saying its either or, but a large majority of all the scams, are in electronics, and alot of those are in the phones. And as somsone who uses the site every day, im sick of seeing way way more scams then real auctions. Its honestly like i have to spend 3 hours going through scam and fake auctions, to find one decent real auction, and when i finally do, by then 200 other people are bidding on it too cause its the only real auction for that item. Again, im not saying if this is real or fake, im just giving an outlook in general as to new bidders, and/or fake auctions. Thats all.
Go a few remarks up you were calling this a scam. Now that she is posting your on the fence about it? Unless the seller has personally scammed you than all you are doing is slandering a person. And that just isn't right, so honestly unless Listia hires you as their police I think you should let people decide on their own if an auction is real or a scam. Because it was starting to look like an angry mob going on here and there is NO reason for that.
Well I do hope its real, but like I said, I like to see new seller start with something not so high risk and build up a few feedbacks first. But even if they're going to start with electronics, at least get phone and bank verified. I dont bid on 0 feedback, non phone and bank verified auctions anyways, so im just here as a watcher. Good luck to whoever wins, it appears like a nice phone, for boost branded.
i understand where your coming from and all but why bother watching if your not interested in the phone and you just want to see if it was "fake" or not? dont get it.
And im rooting for Owtevr to win over everyone else. I would really like to see you win this auction. Go sign up for the Netflix offer through the Listia page, so you can get another 2,000 credits, you might need it at the end. Thats the best, easiest offer if you dont already have netflix, and it doesnt cost a dime.
your such a negative person who has no faith or trust in people. look im sorry people have screwed you over but please dont assume everyone is out to get over on someone
Thanks I hope I win also. But to be honest I should just let you keep bad mouthing that way people are to freaked to bid and I get it cheap! But that isn't really fair to the seller. I will have faith in people and if I did get burned than that's life but I won't make others pay for someone else's mistakes. That just isn't right. And for Terri33 here is the definition of slander; is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation a negative image. That is NOT freedom of speech...for it to be freedom of speech what was being said had to be fact not assumed. You never know it may be fact but for now it is not.
Well i said i was rooting for you to win, so i dont see how thats bad mouthing, or negative as kristin says. I even gave you a tip to get an easy 2,000 credits so that way you dont get overibd at the end. I thought that was pretty nice of me actually. @ObeyTony20, there is a section of Listia, go down to the bottom of this page on the right, you see all those different Listia links, I dont remember which one it is, but try the How It Works link, and look around for "Special Offers" or somewhere it says "earn more credits". And it will bring you to a page where theres hundreds of different offers that if you sign up for you get credits. I personally did the Netflix one when i first signed up here and I wasnt a Netflix customer. I got my 2,000 credits almost instantly, and was able to do some good bidding that nite and win some auctions. And i could have cancelled the Netflix subscription before the 30 day free trial was over, and it wouldnt cost me a dime, totally free. But i ended up liking Netflix and have been a paying customer ever since. So everyone made out on the deal. If you still have problems finding where to go, private message me and ill send you the exact link to go to to complete the special offers. Theres surveys and other things that are easy and give a smaller amount of credits.
@Kristin, im just watching it because I like to see how the phone auctions go, because thats what i mainly bid on. How is watching this going to tell me if its fake or not. Only the winner will know that, and they probably wont find out either way for at least 4 or 5 days or longer till they either receive or dont receive their product. Ill never know unless someone just emails me out of the clear blue and tells me. Im just watching just to watch, no other reason. I actually thought ive been helping you out a little by telling people where to get extra credits, and show that your answering questions and your here and not a ghost. But if you want to keep giving me a hard time its ok, i can take it. Thats just the nature of the auction buisness sometimes online, no big deal. The only thing that matters is you get the most credits you can, and you ship this out in a timely fashion, outside of that nothing matters.
@owtevr, no one is going to get "freaked out" by me saying what I think about any given auction. Im just one person, with low feedback, commenting on one auction. Thats it. Im not anybody important or special, so I doubt i would have that kind of impact on anyones auction, good or bad. If 20 people all started saying the same thing then maybe, but still doubt it.
If this turns out to be a legit auction the seller will not get the credits she deserved for the phone. That's a poor way to welcome someone to Listia.
With this person being new to Listia you people should know she will not get her credits until you say you received the phone..If you get no response from the person who listed this phone and you have not received within 9 days of auction's end you can request your refund..They get right back to you within a couple days..I had this happen to me so many times..Scam after scam..Try giving new people the benefit of the doubt..If this person does not respond or send the phone and you receive within 9 days, you have nothing to lose..8)
