a good, cheap tank is a Kritter Keeper(they go by different names). you find them in the rodent part of any pet store, and a 2 gallon is only $10, give or take a few bux. i have three of the 2 gallons, and one of the 1 gallon ones. they don't look stylish, but they're perfect sized, and you can decorate them so much! i have 9 bettas, and my cat can't get in those. the lids snap shut, and you just drop the smaller pellets through the top, so you don't even have to open it until it's time to change the water! :D

how many gallons is this? it's pretty cute. but, looks hard to clean(i'm OCD about my betta's tanks. scalding water and a rub-down with a paper towel while cleaning. lol). i think i'll try for this! i'm looking to get a new, interesting tank, anyways!

oh no it is extremely easy to clean my wife is OCD about everything including her tanks lol. It is under a gallon but is perfect for a single betta and if decide to get another they link together on the side. you can link and stack them they are neat but my cat thinks it is a neat water bowl so decided to get a more complex tank for my daughters fish. she would kill me if anything happened to her "lemon"
