So I finally got someone to trade me some European White Chickpeas for the Indian Green Chickpeas. They gave me so many though, I am going to list some to spread the wealth.

So here is why I have been desperate to get my hands on these for my personal garden. I read an article about 6 months back on a nutrition website that said these beans were so healthy they were going to replace the highly favored edamame bean (soybeans) amongst health food fanatics.

The fresher the better. Also, it seems you can only find them (to eat) in high end health food stores or big cities. And if you can find them at all, they are never fresh, always dried.

So alas and alack, I finally have them and shortly will be able to harvest them for free in my own backyard.
